Excellent location for a quiet getaway. We'll definitely stay here again. Michael's cod is superb! Just be aware though, this is a 20-minute ride from downtown which works out to about a $45 USD cab fare

This is by far the BEST hotel we have stayed in so far! The staff was friendly and helpful. The hot tubs and saunas were clean. The hotel instantly smells delightful when you walk in, and the food is lovely. If we were not moving around the island we would just stay here every night!

Fantastic cost to value hotel.

Beautiful spacious rooms, the service here is excelent we had a very friendly receptionist check us in and offered a wakeup call if the northern lights showed up. Its so far the best cost to value ratio hotel ive stayed in iceland, great for birding if you like that. Hot tub is only open from 4pm to 10pm but it is geothermaly fed. Food in the resturant is fantastic, breakfast was great theres a mimosa bar thats included with breakfast.
