We loved this place! So welcoming and so clean with modern amenities (love the heated shower floor), wonderful garden and check in was incredibly easy. Couldn’t recommend highly enough and can’t wait to return.

The place was great, the location is really nice and free parking outside and near streets was a plus point. The only issue was the shampoo and shower gel, it was a broken non functional bottle and the smell was not good either. Else it was a great property to stay and will highly recommend anyone. You can easily walk around to get food and tons of great options around

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Guesthouse Galtafell! Our room was very comfortable and the location was great. We even ran in to a small issue getting in to our room and someone was able to come help us very quickly. Check-in was very easy and we would love to come again.

Cozy and very clean room, but small if you are big or have a lot of luggage. It was fine for two of us. Location is amazing! Just a few minutes to walk to all famous sites, beautiful pond with ducks and swans, local eateries, bus stops, and a downtown. The owner is nice and helpful. We had coffee and tea in the room. The price was reasonable. We would stay there again.

Perfect bungalow

Check in was simple, it was walking distance to anything down town but tucked away from the busyness. The little kitchen was perfect for making a quick meal, which is nice as dining out is pricey in Reykjavík. Would highly recommend!
