Perfect place from which to day-trip. Breakfast options were numerous. P4 parking areas (no fee from 4pm - 8am) within a few blocks. Staff were very accommodative. Lamg shank offered by hotel restaurant was outstanding.

The breakfast was great, staff were efficient and very helpful. We tried both restaurants and liked the Bistro especially where the food was delicious if expensive. The location was far enough away from some key places of interest that we spent more on taxis than anticipated but a younger person might have just walked. The room was adequate but because there was not way to regulate the heat and the bed covers were heavy, we kept waking in the night from being too hot. There was adequate storage in the room but not the bathroom. On the whole it was a good stay, though.

Very clean. Staff are very helpful especially on helping booking local trips. Bus stop is at the door, very convenient for taking tours, going to airport etc. Hotel is within walking distance to town center and business streets and tourist attractions. Excellent value.

Happy to hear live music at the bar. Happens on Thursdays. Major construction is occurring on one side. Very loud, but they did not work during nighttime. Bathroom had both a tub and shower.

I liked the view from the 13th floor and that’s why I chose the hotel - the views. So I’m happy with that aspect of the hotel. The rest was generically okay. Fine, forgettable in a non-distinct area, but close to the city center of Reykjavik which is a cute and a colorful capital in this fascinating country.
