Clean and simple room. Small but functional bathroom. Central location. Free parking though some spots were tight to get into. We went to a spa or the nearby public pool every day so we didn’t end up using the shower which was quite small. Very good breakfast with lots of good options. The skyr with berries was especially nice. Good sitting area in lobby. Good value for a three star hotel.

Exceptionally convenient to the old town, old port, restaurants. Superior staff--I wish I knew tge name of the desk attendant on the day of our arrival and next day. So nice, accommodating, helpful. Outstanding breakfast! Room somewhat spartan but it was very clean, housekeeping by request, great bed! If I get back to Reykjavik, I will definitely stay at Fosshotel Lind.

Good location to the church with nice restaurants and supermarket around. The room is small but everything works. Buffet breakfast is a good choice. The beds were comfortable and the room was very cleaned. Easy to get a taxi and only a few minutes ride to the church and city center. Room was on the smaller side. The drains in the bathroom took a long time to drain. Notified the front desk and they told us that the drains always worked very slow. We flooded the hallway too! We would stay there again.

Location - great. Easily walkable to main areas but far enough out to be quiet at night. Parking - fine. I had no problem finding a space for my hire car at the back of the hotel. Room - great. Comfy bed, good room temperature, excellent shower though the curtain when pulled across made you feel a bit cramped. Breakfast - fantastic hot and cold choices, plus a welcoming seating area. Staff - First class, couldn't be faulted.

Breakfast was excellent. Hotel parking is small but parking in the area is free overnight so you can often avoid paying for parking. Staff were very helpful and nice. Room doesn't have mini fridge which was unexpected - plan accordingly.

We stayed for one night in a family room. It was spacious enough for 3 adults. The room was clean and well maintained. We did not like that the elevator did not go to the ground floor, and we have 3 very heavy suitcases to go up and down the stairs. The staff did offer to help, but this seems like an accessibility issue. Breakfast was delicious. Hot, and lots of variety.

All was very nice and clean. Food was excellent. The only downside was that the shower was so small that there was no room to move and no place to put things like shampoo or conditioner. Similarly the bathroom could be improved with some shelving and more hooks.

The hotel & rooms are clean, staff were friendly. Room is small especially the bathroom. The doors of the shower stall are not all way to the floor, so when you shower, the water will spread outside the shower area and onto 1/3 of the bathroom floor. The shower doors won’t stay open and the “gap” to go inside the shower is very narrow, only 51cm when both doors are open. There’s no fridge in the room and if you would like to put something in the fridge, you have to ask the front desk. Good checkout policy till 12am.
