This hotel was one of the best places I've stayed. In wonderful, but expensive Iceland, they provide a fantastic breakfast each morning that is worth the stay itself. More impressive are the helpful and friendly staff who helped me arrange transportation (I am handicapped) tours, all manner of assistance that really mattered to me. More than that, they did it all with a friendly smile and a lot of compassion. The hotel is situated in a part of the city that makes it easy to move about, as a bus stop is just up the hill, a five minute walk.

The shuttle is two blocks from the hotel. Staff were very helpful! Breakfast is good and plentiful (not cheap but no food in Reykjavik is). Clean, and very quiet rooms . Best bed in 3 weeks! Worst disappointment was clouds during the Aurora!

Tiny , no shelf space, literal shower " curtain" but the worst was that the water smelled of sulfur, and our sink faucet either was cold or super hot. ( I used bottled water to brush my teeth and I showered at the sky lagoon instead) . Beds okay...clean but firm, not real comfortable. Staff was very pleasant/ friendly.
