We stayed here our last night in Iceland. Great hotel close to airport. Good restaurant for dinner and nice breakfast buffet. Note: the hotel shuttle only goes TO the airport and generally runs only early morning. Let the front desk know the time you need the shuttle when you check in. A day earlier we had to take a taxi back to the hotel after we dropped off our rental car. Cost about $25 for a 5 minute trip.

Breakfast buffet had more than enough choices. We had to wait several hours before going to the airport. The bar breakfast area very pleasant for relaxing and playing cards. The staff went overboard and took us to the,airport in the shulttle, even though it was not scheduled to run on Saturday afternoon. I would stay there again.

Perfect to stay the night before an early flight. Near the airport. About 45 minutes outside Reykjavik. About 20 minutes away from the Blue Lagoon. Easy to get a taxi from town to the Blue Lagoon on our last day in Iceland, then again to the Courtyard Hotel. The hotel even has 2 great restaurants on site, so dinner, then an early bedtime before our flight. They have a shuttle to the airport, but only for Bonvoy members , so apply before you get there, so you can give them your number.
