Nice hotel on a perfect location to the harbour and restaurants. Great service as well. Rooms get quite hot in the summer (no a/c) but a fan is available in the room to cool it off.

This is a vey acceptable hotel that was clean and delivered what one wants for a one night pre-crusie trip. The breakfast was decent, although crowded since most of the hotel guests were leaving about the same time. The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is only a short walk to wherever one wants to go. Definitely choose this one for it walkability.

Unlike a lot of European hotels, this hotel has large rooms. Best king size beds anywhere. It’s also in a great location, being close and within walking distance to everything. Staff is wonderful and will help you store your luggage so you can explore Reykjavík. Would stay here again! There was nothing to dislike.

We were placed into side building, had to take 2 elevators to end up on street level. Bar nearby was very loud, we called reception twice asking to lower the volume, finally they stopped past midnight. No amenities despite impressive facade, breakfast is $30 per person. Ok to stay for 1 night

The hotel is in a good location, however the location is so centrally located the bars are playing loud music late. It’s not so bad on the weekdays but the weekends it goes pretty late. Even with a white noise machine we brought you could still hear the bass. Facing the plaza would definitely be the loudest. In the summer with no heat on we still needed to have the window open to get a cooler temperature. Which of course makes things louder. Other than the noise everything was great. There are some pretty good restaurants near the hotel as well.

We only stayed there for one night prior to the cruise. Our flight arrived at 8 a.m and were able to get to the hotel around 10 a.m. by the Flybus with hotel transfer (closest bus stop 3 minutes from the hotel). There was a room available and we were allowed to check in right away. We thought we might have to leave our luggages at the hotel and check in after 2 p.m. Our room was one of the rooms at the roof top with a common balcony with the other rooms. Room was clean but not very big. The safety box was located quite high. Staff was nice and helpful. We were offered two vouchers for free drinks (beer, wine, expresso, latte, etc). We did not eat breakfast and checked out at 11 am the next day and the reception called a taxi for us to go to the cruise terminal.

It was a lovely room. The hotel staff were super friendly. Great location. Thank you for the special birthday wishes for family member. It’s the little things that truly made it a wonderful experience. Our room did get a little warm as we were visiting Iceland in the summertime and there is no air conditioning. We did use the standing fan we found in the closet. Definitely would stay here again!
