It was a perfect choice. Great location with comfortable bed. We traveled the city for two days coming back to have a drink and appetizers for our supper. I would stay here again. The only down side is their lack of free parking. We were fortunate to find it in the rear of the hotel.

We loved our stay and the location was great for accessing downtown Reykjavík without having to walk far or be stuck downtown. Only downsides were the pancakes at breakfast were cold and the bathroom in the room isn’t very sound proof. With those being pretty minor, the hotel was amazing, staff were friendly, and the hot tubs and spa area were well maintained and relaxing!!

I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is quiet, nice, modern and clean. The staff prepared some sweets for us to celebrate our 35th anniversary, which is very heart warming! Thank you hotel team! Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is a bit small. Be careful when using the glass door, make sure it is closed the right way. The food at the restaurant "Jorgensen" is excellent. Arctic Char and Lamb sirloin are great.

This hotel is in a perfect spot. We walked to everything in town and caught the bus right outside. We had a beautiful room and the hotel staff was great, especially Veronika at the front desk who was super nice and helpful. Enjoyed the restaurant, the spa (had a massage), daily breakfast, and everything about our stay. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Pros: - Really modern interior architecture - Limited Complimentary parking - Exceptionally supportive staff members - In city centre - Nearby restaurants and food halls - Really good Spa section(Sauna, Massage, indoor and outdoor warm pool) Conditional Cons: - No racks to keep eye glasses in Spa area(it becomes difficult for a person with eyeglasses, as there is no rack to leave them off, when entering in Sauna or going to take shower)

The location is very central to downtown Reykjavik. Everything is within reasonable walking distance. We told the hotel that we were there for our engagement and the hotel accommodated us with pastries and rose petals. The bar and restaurant was very delicious. If you bring a car the parking is a little confusing and tight but very reasonable.
