Lovely hotel with very convenient car hire nearby, and the hotel also offers a shuttle service. The breakfast is good, and the restaurant serves very nice dinners. We had ribs and duck—both were great comfort food. The Icelandic drinks taste great, and the water is truly something unique to the country. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

We needed a place to stay the night before leaving Keflavik Airport and found this total gem. The place was updated and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, but the menu looked good. I would totally recommend this hotel.

There are some really great things about Hotel Konvin. The hotel's restaurant and staff is wonderful - great food, great service. The shuttle TO the airport is great, though it's unusual to pay for it. What really did not work for me was the fact that the TV and multiple lamps did not work and it cost me - as a solo traveler going there without a car rental - a $45 USD taxi. That's insane. I get that things are expensive in Iceland, but to spend more to go to an "airport" hotel vs travel to and from city center is outrageous. If I do travel to Reykjavik again, I would not stay here. (OH! The walls are crazy thin. I overheard the saddest silliest shortest sex next door.)

We had to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel which is about 5,000ISK. The hotel itself is clean and has everything you need for an overnight stay close to the airport. The breakfast was adequate.
