Breakfast was great everyday and good selection. The room was clean and very nice, for our 8 day stay it was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the laundry service was not complimentary and it seemed as though it would be. There was no price listed and no one mentioned there was a fee. Assuming it was free was my own fault, but having booked a suite and the things which werent complimentary had a listed fee. That said, the laundry service fee was unbelievably high. The three loads we sent out were over $550 USD! Other than this, our stay was amazing.

A very nice property in the center of town- most interesting areas of Reykjavik are walkable, and it’s close to pickups for tours. Our room needed a bit more brighter lights, but the bed and shower were excellent; there is also a fridge in the room and a small coffee maker. Good coffee within a block too.

The staff was attentive and the hotel was clean as was the room and bathroom. It is at a great location within walking distance from bus stops and shopping and some of the important sightseeing locations. The breakfast spread is really good and the hotel’s restaurant food is simply amazing. The reason I can’t give a 5 because the room itself was small though, we had a double twin-bed room, there was one small closet and a small table and there was barely any space to move. Also, we reached early and asked about checkin - they immediately said the room was ready but we would be charged €50 for early checkin which we thought was odd, as if they were prepared to gouge tourists.
