The property exceeded our expectations. Was perfect for a small family with ample beds, comfortable linens, clean accommodations. Though not a 5-star resort, it served our purposes very well and was a comfortable place to stay. I would stay there again as an overnight option before departing for the airport the following morning. Was also close to restaurants and shops.

Very comfortable place with lots of amenities, including a mini-kitchen in the room and a shared kitchen downstairs with free coffee and tea. There was a nice view of the harbor from my room. It is close to the airport and a reasonably priced shuttle service is provided in the morning. I had some questions about checking in and the office responded right away.

The room size was comfortable enough for our needs, and everything was very clean. The location near the airport was really convenient, especially since we only used it for an overnight stay. However, the photos were a bit misleading—it looked like the room had an extra bed that wasn’t actually there. Overall, it worked well for a short stay, but the listing could be more accurate.

We had a very pleasant stay at Blue Viking Studio after completingthe Icelandic Ring One. The studio was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it a great place to spend the last night before flying back home. Check-in was easy, and the location was convenient with everything we needed nearby. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to others.

The room was great. We had the 5 person studio and there was plenty of space for all our stuff. The beds were comfortable. It is in a quiet area. All in all, a very pleasant stay. Also very close to the airport which is a huge bonus!

Pictures were exactly as shown. A little isolated but could walk to restaurants. Fairly expensive, but all of Iceland was expensive. Appreciate the shuttle return to airport, but could not get one to pick up at airport, and taxis are very expensive

We had a great stay at Viking Studio during the beginning of our trip around Iceland. It was the perfect place to rest and recover after a long flight before starting our journey. The studio was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. We especially appreciated having a fridge, microwave, and dishes in the room, which made our stay much more convenient. There was also a shared kitchen area for guests with a machine where you could make coffee or hot chocolate. Overall, it was a very cozy and practical place to stay, and we would happily recommend it to anyone starting their Iceland trip.

I had trouble with the lockbox. I had one of the older ones and it was difficult to open. Not putting the code in but actually opening the lockbox. There is no one on property, but they responded quickly to a WhatsApp call. The unit has a small fridge, sink, and area to make a simple meal. There is also a common area downstairs where you might cook a simple meal. There is no elevator so you will have to carry everything upstairs to the second floor. Unfortunately during my stay other guests were quite noisy and yelling during the night when I was trying to sleep. There was no one to report this to but it did really make for a difficult night as it happened more than once. The room is well appointed.

Total lack of communication with management of this property. No one on site. Office closes at 4:00pm, which is also the earliest you can check in. We had a problem with our room and called, sent an email and sent a message via What’s App. When I called I was advised the office was closed and directed to press#1 if it was an emergency. I pressed #1 and it rang and rang and then the line went dead. Could not even leave a message. Never received a response from email or What’s App. Don’t stay here.

This place is NOT it if you are looking for a quiet place to sleep at night. The location is in some random spot in an industrial area. But it is also next to like 2 bars or some sort of gathering spot for locals who were drunk and loud and music was going until almost 3 am. We heard screaming and loud music all night long. It was impossible to sleep. The way I could compare this place is a building that was probably an office building with the office rooms converted into a hostel type facility. I messaged the management about the noise and they never responded. Spend a little more money and go somewhere that feels safe and is not loud…. We were here for an overnight layover and it was terrible.
