Was clean with multiple bathrooms/showers. Nice kitchen with two espresso machines and three air fryers but no stove top. Drafty window but big screen tv in room. They are closing for renovation.

Very clean property. Obviously the surrounding area is not that great, but you'd stay here to get to the airport, which is super easy. You will need a car though as there is no shuttle. They have a good kitchen with appliances

We really enjoyed staying here. It was very quiet and close to the airport, but easy to access with a rental car, and the route into Keflavik and Reykjavik was very easy.

Near the airport KEF but you need to take a taxi. The house is really clean and rooms and bathrooms are big! I would recommend this place.

Clean and comfortable room.

The bed is very comfortable and the shared bathroom has a good shower. Note that the bathroom is in the room marked “shared rooms” area that also has a nice little kitchen. Only 7 minutes drive to the airport. Very convenient for that early flight.

I was expecting less for both the money and the reviews I read. It was actually pretty great. Perfect before flying out of KEF early the next morning. Small kitchen area with a few places to eat but had microwave and air fryer and some other kinds of hot pots. Coffee makers and such as well with coffee. Plus a cupboard of leftovers to leave or take for guests. If I was just flying in, there would've been a few items to take that would've saved money. Outgoing guests were sharing with incoming guests. The WC and showers were clean. Neat old bank building. Slept well. Use a phone app sound machine to help mitigate noise.

Stayed here with our toddler to catch a few hours of shut eye when our flight landed at 0500. The guest house was so accommodating when we let them know that’s what we’d be using it for, and they let us stay an extra hour for free which was much appreciated. Close to the airport, easy check in process.

Best place to stay in Iceland

One of the best place to stay in Iceland, very convenient, close to airport and just 30 minute from blue lagoon. Host are very friendly and helpfull.

I love this place! And I never write reviews, but I feel I can’t NOT write one. This place had exactly what we wanted and needed for a very reasonable price in an expensive country. Our room was attractive and simple. It had a mini fridge with a FREEZER section, often missing in Europe. The shared bathrooms were no problem, but could be an issue during busy season. It’s very close to the airport and Blue Lagoon. The photo makes it seem it’s connected to Blue Lagoon , which is a bit misleading. Nice kitchen area and lounge room; appreciated the peanuts and tea!
