This is a funky old hotel but the rooms are amazing! They're brand newly remodeled with sophisticated furnishings, beautiful bathroom, kitchen stocked with breakfast items. This place truly surprised us for a small hotel in a tiny town in Idaho.

The room was nicely decorated but it seemed to be in the middle of a repair. There was a strong musty odor and mold smell in the room. This caused an allergic reaction and we had to leave. The desk agent was kind at check in. We were unable to speak to someone upon leaving as we couldn't find anyone. I wish something was said about the issues with the room. We were very disappointed. Thus place had good reviews and pictures that made the place seem good.

What a cute and cozy place to stay! I love all things antique and vintage, so for me, this place hit the spot! The owners were kind and kept the door open for us when we arrived at 2am. So accommodating! They even gave us breakfast sandwiches, orange juice, eggs, cheese, sausage, butter, etc. We were so surprised and enjoyed that thoroughly! My only suggestion is a ceiling fan or portable fan in the master bedroom would've been PERFECT! We will definitely stay here every time we come to town. Thank you so much from these Texans!

The property had a lot of character and was very clean and included a full kitchen. At the time we stayed, the restaurant in the hotel was being redone, so the hotel provided the makings of the advertised breakfast in a refrigerator temporarily (I think) parked in one of the closets (an ingenious solution, but different than the advertised breakfast). On the other hand, you could customize your breakfast and guarantee that it was freshly prepared, though you prepared it yourself. The room door was locked via knob and deadbolt locks operated by keys. It’s not the most modern security, but appeared to work well enough. The rooms appear to be all or mostly second floor. I don’t know whether accessible rooms are available or not. If you have accessibility issues you may want to check with the hotel before booking. The Silver Horseshoe is a bit of a work in progress at the moment, but I think it would be worth checking out a little down the road. The owners seem committed to getting things right, and the good customer service showed that.

Five Stars! I cannot say enough good things about my time staying here in St. Anthony, Idaho! From the moment I arrived, the hosts made me feel incredibly welcome. They are some of the nicest, most hospitable people you could ever hope to meet. The accommodations were fantastic. My room was immaculate, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and came equipped with a full kitchen, which made the stay incredibly convenient. The welcoming atmosphere extended well beyond the property too; every single person in town I interacted with was genuinely kind and friendly. I also felt completely secure throughout my trip, as the property is located in a very safe area. The absolute highlight for outdoor enthusiasts is the location. It sits right along the Snake River and Henry's Fork, an area world-renowned for its legendary fishing for trophy-sized rainbow and brown trout. It also serves as the perfect home base for day trips to explore Island Park, as well as both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, safe, and scenic getaway with world-class fishing and top-tier hospitality. I will definitely be back!

This turned out to be one my favourite vacation stays ever! The town of St Anthony is small and doesn’t have a lot of modern facilities but it has character. The Silver Horseshoe is a perfect example. The stone faced building beckons you in with the charm of an old friend. It’s history is fascinating and the two brothers who own the hotel provide an experience that is so unique. When I visited, they were busy updating the dining area, so I was given a room with everything I needed to prepare my own breakfast. A lovely clean bathroom with all the bits and bobs that you could ever need, and a super comfy bed. The guys are charming hosts and you can tell that they take pride in the quality of their service. Great value for money and a perfect way to start my roadtrip. Outstanding!!
