Awesome location and history and the “vibe” for this family run business is a 10 out of 10. It’s an older building which may bring down the overall rating but I’m looking forward to visiting again next summer and continuing to explore the area from there.

Although the property is slightly dated and in need of some upgrades like in room WiFi and in room air conditioning, the resort was very clean and we had lots of fun here! The Heritage Ghost Town on the property was amazing and the scenery of the lake and mountains were both incredible! Parking was ample and all the staff were very polite and helpful.

This is my absolute favourite place to take my family. We absolutely adore the charm and magical atmosphere it exudes! The beachfront is incredibly convenient, and the indoor pool is perfect for the kids. There’s also a ghost town, mountain views, and it’s close to the enchanted forest. Rusty the cat just ties everything together. This is a must-stay if you haven’t already! I love it so much.

We love this place and have stayed here more than once. Lots of parking out back, friendly staff, lovely grounds, beautiful view, and plenty of stuff to do for the whole family. My only complaint is that you have to walk thru the gift store everytime you enter or leave the restaurant. Great business strategy, but not my favorite with kids.

Older property with lots of character and so many interesting things to look at if youre into history. Staff was super friendly. Parking was easy and it was quiet. Beds were very, very soft and shower wasn't working properly, could have used some TLC. Not all of the amenities like AC, which was fine...but for the price tag I was hoping for a little more.
