“There was nothing we didn't like about the Hotel. The whole hotel has had a massive upgrade / renovation and for the cost of the accommodation, it represents top value. “The B&B was located in a lovely and unusual setting at the end of a cul de sac. The views were great. Our hosts were very welcoming and informal. Of particular interest was on the ongoing 'construction' but nearing completion, of a waterfall and pond within the limits of the garden. “With so many negative reviews regarding the size of the room, we paid extra for their bigger room. On arrival we received a friendly welcome and were shown to our room. The entrance to the rooms was having a mould problem, so an extractor had been installed and reed diffuser to mask the smell. The room itself was comfortable, clean, no damp smells which I feared on entry to the block. “Reception staff were excellent. TV in room didn’t work. Pool area was very clean. The restaurant for breakfast was very good but service in the evening wasn’t very good, no cutlery, no salt on the table, getting staff attention was hard work but appreciate there was training of new staff.”
