Vacations Close To Montgomery Woods State Reserve

The place was decent and the service was good. It's well located.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough for you. The bar area is great, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Location is right at the top of the steep hill at California St but the cable car stop is also there. The only reason I haven’t given it a 5* is the breakfast could be improved. You have to hand in a breakfast buffet voucher (pay extra for à la carte) and you are handed a plate (v old and scratched). Options are limited and no table service. You have to make your own tea in a paper cup. That doesn’t make it a luxury hotel in my view.

We had an amazing stay. Perfect location. Rooms were great, staff was friendly. Loved the little store, Perfect for grabbing a snack or coffee.

My husband and I stayed here while traveling for business, and we really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!
