We enjoyed our stay at the Jesse overall. It is very clean, quaint, and has a great B&B vibe (without the breakfast). The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The housekeeping staff was very nice and proactive if there was anything we needed. Quick note. The hotel is on a fairly busy street and it's not the most soundproofed. The hotel provides earplugs and a white noise machine, but we did not find those necessary for the occasional traffic noise. They were not helpful on the Friday night when the music in the adjacent patio was cranked up. Thankfully, the event ended by 11:00. If you are someone who needs deep silence and goes to bed early, check ahead on events there. If you crash later at night or can sleep through anything, this is a great place to stay!

I absolutely loved this little gem! Despite the fact that it's in a rougher neighborhood, I felt super safe and well taken care of by the staff. The rooms are gorgeous and the bathrooms like little old school SPAs. I found this place by googling "safe and cozy small hotels for women" and it was exactly that. Plus, the food at the bar is delicious.

The room was SO cute. I had some food and drinks at the bar, and it was delicious. There are a lot of homeless people in the area, but the building felt safe and secure. Will definitely stay again!

Loved our stay at the Jesse Hotel! Our room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Was such a luxury to lounge and relax from our day's drive. Not a reflection on the hotel, but did find the homeless folks concentrated in the area inhibited our exploration as first-time Reno visitors. Luckily, being inside the Jesse made up for that!

If it wasn’t for the sense of uncleanliness and finding hair everywhere. One pillow had a blood stain. It was beyond gross. The robe didn’t look clean… It was the downstairs cafe and bar that made the stay worthy.
