We stayed in a room on the upper level with a King bed for a couple of nights. The Hotel location is superb - just one block away from the ocean/boardwalk.
Still, a few unpleasant surprises hit us at once. The first one was during our check-in: there was no any parking at the hotel (although its availability was advertised on Expedia). The solution proposed by the staff was us to find an available city parking spot; he would provide us with a free for us parking permit for the duration of our stay. Too bad. Most of the streets around the hotel are 100% reserved for metered parking ($4/h, 24/7). It was only by kind of luck that after half an hour search we found an empty city parking spot one block away from the hotel.
Our next surprise was the room itself: 90% of its area was occupied by a single King bed, so close to the walls that a person could barely able to move around it. No tables. One chair, and, stacked one upon another, a small refrigerator, microwave and a desk lamp in another corner. Two wall receptacles, each with an attached extender, were overloaded with connected cords, one with partly burned plastic from a previous power overload. Finally, the walls in the room showed sings of multiple repairs or holes from previous installations.
The good news was that the bedsheets were clean and very clean was also the bathroom and a shower.
Overall, you get what you paid for.
