The hotel is in a great location with beautiful views. Its an older hotel, but well maintained and the room was very clean. Checking in was a bit late, but we parked in their free lot and changed in the available bathroon that includes a changing room and shower with fresh towels. Then we enjoyed the beach until the room was ready.

Excellent location. We enjoyed our stay. Our room had a patio which was nice also. Coffee and fruit out at the desk. We couldn’t have the muffins, they had nuts but the coffee and oranges were a nice touch. Enjoyed the rocking chairs on the patio near the boardwalk. Excellent beach access and finding a parking spot was a breeze. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at the Henlopen Hotel! The location is hard to beat—right on the boardwalk with beautiful ocean views and just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and everything Rehoboth Beach has to offer. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing beach getaway. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making check-in and our entire stay easy and enjoyable. One of our favorite parts was being able to step right onto the beach each morning without having to drive or search for parking. If you’re looking for a classic beachfront hotel in a fantastic location, the Henlopen Hotel is a great choice. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for the past couple years now and always been satisfied. It’s quiet and the staff are very accommodating. It’s close to the beach and right on the boardwalk. I recommend this place. Parking is easy! I like that it’s close to everything, but far enough away from the crowded areas on the boardwalk.

The positives: Great location with walking distance to the beach and downtown. Staff is helpful and courteous and the 24x7 coffee and tea service in the lobby is a plus. Rooms are spacious (ours had a balcony with ocean view) but fairly spartan. One nit-pick: The rubber floor in the outdoor hallways does not adequately eliminate dragged-in sand from foot traffic and has a musty smell.

We experienced a problem with our air conditioner, the staff responded immediately, and rectified the situation. We were extremely impressed with the services, accommodations, and the cleanliness of the property. The beach is only a minute away. WOW!!
