Check and check out was a process. They struggled with it being booked through 3rd party. Room was meh lots of hair on bed annd towels. Room needs major updating. Clearly has been through several storms. Luckily we were only in the room to sleep and it being only one night. The lobby was clean and the staff were friendly. Would I book again…maybe.

This is a very basic hotel. The shower was hot, the beds comfortable, the room was clean, and the beach was easy walking distance. Unfortunately, no one did anything about loud, disruptive behavior every night outside on hotel property. There was no coffee available early in the lobby and no coffee maker in the rooms. We had to ask for our microwave (which was brought quickly- I appreciated the maintenance and cleaning staff). The front desk staff was cordial, but was unable to give me a receipt for the parking fee and pet fee, claiming it hadn't been billed- but my credit card was definitely billed for it. I would most likely not book this place again.

Facilities were clean and well kept. WARNING: What you should know is that Dewey Beach is not like Rehoboth. Rehoboth is quiet, but Dewey is for partiers. This particular hotel was filled with college students who treated it like a dorm room. Screaming in the halls until 3am. There are loud clubs across the street. We were up until 3am both nights given the noise and other hotel residents being really loud. If you're not looking to party, would suggest another area. We are exhausted from this weekend trip which was supposed to be relaxing.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Atlantic Ocean Side Hotel in Dewey Beach for opening weekend! From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy, welcoming, and relaxing. The location is absolutely perfect—just steps from the beach and all Dewey has to offer! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a stress-free getaway. The staff was so very friendly and accommodating, always ready with a smile and very helpful. We love how laid-back the atmosphere is and being in the heart of Dewey with all the fun things to do. Anytime we come to Dewey we always stay here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, enjoyable, and perfectly located beach escape!
