I was gluten and dairy free. The buffet was labelled up with allergies on it. Had to ask for gf bread and df milk as was not available out. The spa was fully booked , so didn't have one. Pool was usy most of the time not matter what time you went. The hot tub had way too much chlorine in it and stung the eyes. Restaurant and spa staff were very good. Front desk was hit and miss. The room was decent , the only problem was there was two alcoves that were slanted, one above the bed which I kept hitting my head on. I'm 5ft 1 and the other was over the desk where the TV was and tea / coffee facilities which my husband kept hitting he's 5ft 8. Also trays from room services were left in the corridor for hours. Don't know if they were short staffed.

Me and my mum had a wonderful stay, took here here as she was exhausted.. and she came back feeling refreshed! Facilities were brilliant, and all the staff were helpful. Receptionist staff were very friendly also, was a nice atmosphere

Lovely staff and an excellent breakfast. Recommend you check out both bars as one of them has a great view over the golf course. The hotel was fairly quiet. The car park was busy but spaces were available. Would recommend. Check out the needle museum, it is worth a visit.

The hotel is well situated on a main road and not too far from motorways. the upper floor has attic style rooms with some sloped ceilings. Well equipped and comfortable rooms and the heating works well in all areas. The spa area has a wonderful heated pool, steam room, sauna and a well equipped gym. Rooms at the rear have a view of the golf course and the grounds and the surrounding landscape are beautiful. The restaurant is spacious and breakfast offerings are of a standard nature. Staff throughout the hotel are mostly pleasant and helpful. A fellow traveller had a room above the area of the reception/ restaurant/ kitchen. If you are here you will get little if any peace for the continual banging of double doors and moving of furniture by the staff. Indeed the building is full of poorly hung double fire doors that most people allow to slam together- these desperately need repositioning or upgrading to soft close ones.,
