The onsite bar and restaurant were wonderful. We had the fish and chips and a French dip. Both were delicious. We really appreciated a drink after a long day on the road. We had a dog friendly room and it faced the freeway. It was quite noisy but to get a different room was an additional $30. They required a $50 incidental hold and when I asked about getting it back when we checked out they told us there was a charge of $40 for our dog so we only got $10 back.

Our room was all the way to the back of the building which is close to the freeway. You can hear cars passing by. There were also trucks parked at the back which was loud at night, not sure if they were fixing it at night but it was loud and interrupted our sleep. I wish they didn’t put us at the back since there were a lot of rooms available, it was already too late when we realized and we already settled in. The room was nice and clean.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days and had a good stay. The room was older, and okay, and mostly clean. The shower could use a good deep cleaning in the corners, but other than that no complaints. The hotel staff at all levels was the best I have seen in many years. Every staff member was professional and genuinely happy and helpful. It was very nice to see a welcoming greeting when I arrived and during my stay. A+ for all of the staff. Don't let any of them go.
