Perfect location for our ski week in Red Lodge. The room was spacious and comfortable, the lobby very cozy for a morning cup of coffee, location excellent for a quick drive up to Red Lodge Mountain.
I love everything about this place. Starting with AJ , the owner, who warmly greets you at the front desk. This historic motel has everything you need to be comfortable, including an awesome coffee machine in the lobby, a comfortable bed, a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and the perfect rustic comfy feel. It’s in the perfect location to walk to the cutest downtown area with great bars and restaurants. Do yourself a favor and make this your place to be when visiting Red Lodge.
Staff was super friendly, ice was easy and pletntiful, room was quiet, walkable to downtown, fridge was perfect. would stay here again for a night going through
Yodeler is an old historic motel. Yes it was out dated but what do you expect in an old historic motel. It was very clean and the area was very nice and quiet.
I would stay there again without hesitation. I would encourage anyone who is traveling in the area of Red Lodge and needed a fantastic place to stay, try Yodeler. Book early because rooms fill up fast.
Waited for some time for attendant to check in, room smelled like it had a lot of smoking in days gone by, husband had to immediately kill bugs. Bedding appeared to be unwashed and unkept. Entire building was shored up with beams, entire basement lit up and opened to the elements so that we can all see the rubble as we arrive-I assume due to river flooding a few years back. Didn't stay in room. Returned keys to lobby, ate the $150 and got a one of the last rooms left in town at chain hotel which was WAAAAY better/cleaner. Would rather sleep outside than in this place. Sorry-love unique hotels and wanted to love this one-NEVER AGAIN. Wouldve driven the 3 hrs back home rather than even sit down in the space, if we hadnt gotten lucky with another hotel room avlble at other hotel.
The room had a terrible smell.
The AC was super noisy.
Toilets not working properly, reported to housekeeping but basically they said you can’t flush all the way. After each flush we needed to open and fix it.
The sink was clogged.
We stayed at the alpine lodge a day prior which was perfect, we moved because of the good reviews and the location was a bit better, huge mistake. There was no breakfast, the alpine had an amazing breakfast and basically same price. Stay away

Bed was ok, room keys difficult to work. No sliding windows so have to leave door open for air circulation. They do have window air conditioning if needed.
