Some recent upgrades in terms of outdoor seating, their breakfast is good as is the coffee. The room was very comfortable and had a good shower, the bed was plush and slept like a rock. The staff were great, manager went out of his way to ensure everything was as it should be.

Our stay was better than the reviews had us expecting. It was clean and quiet. Room was huge. It's in every way good enough. I would stay again. That said, if you're staying with kids, this would be an excellent choice with the pool and breakfast.

Our stay was quite pleasant, clean room and great breakfast. The pool was nice but one morning hot tub was too hot, after staff checked it had to close it. My child had slight burn on legs from extreme heat.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great but need signage for people to not use their hands when taking cereal from jugs. Room coffee and sugar and stir sticks should be replaced daily. Furniture is very dated and some of it is damaged and just looks bad. No need for rips, not appealing to sit on.

Our stay was okay. Price was good. Staff was very friendly. Room was realtively clean although the tub needed some upgrading and there were some minor signs of wear and tear that needed attention including a little more attention to the bathroom as there were stains on the door. Breakfast was good but area was a little congested.

If you’re looking for a place to sleep while playing (or working) nearby, then this is a great hotel. It was clean, staff was friendly, and the breakfast really was good. Yes, it is terribly outdated. The TV in the kids room didn’t turn on. However, all we needed was a place to keep our stuff and sleep when we weren’t at Sylvan Lake beach. Would stay here again, but if I was looking for a place to spend some time in, then I would probably look for something else.
