I booked this place thinking it would be fine for just one night. I had a great experience at a Super 8 in the Redwood area before, so I trusted the brand despite the low price. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. If you are traveling with kids, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. The area was quiet at night. However, the room had several issues: the lights, doorknobs, and hairdryer were either missing or broken. There was even a cigarette burn hole in the blanket. The broken doorknob made us feel unsafe at night. This place might be okay for adults looking for a budget stay, but families with children should definitely avoid it.

It’s an older motel , but the lady who runs the office was an extraordinary person. She was very easygoing, no judgement or hate in her eyes. Just a super nice person who made us feel comfortable to be there. I’d trade her and her laidback motel over a posh, 5star palace any day of the week!

Staff was lovely upon arrival. My friend and I were traveling with our medical alert service dogs and our two pets. We had no issues with accommodation. They were very friendly and welcoming, had all the recommendations for restaurants! Room 207 had bedbugs. We always inspect our rooms before fully settling in and I'm glad we did. Man at the counter was quick to move us over to a different room and offered to wash our laundry as a courtesy. We didn't have any issues with the new room in regards to bedbugs and we weren't bit throughout our stay. The floors in the new room were grimy, the door looked like it had been kicked in, the neighbors were a bit creepy, and the room smelled musty. Overall, it was a below average trip, but staff was nice. The bedbugs kind of ruined the whole vibe.
