The location is beautiful, and the hotel is pleasant. The gym is quite small, accommodating a maximum of two to three individuals. The restaurants have limited operating hours, but fortunately, there are several dining options available nearby for dinner.

Overall was a great experience. Was our first time in Long Branch and we were pleasantly surprised. Wave is well situated , right on the beach, near many restaurants (many of which are kosher). There are lots of things to do around there. Great police presence feels safe and affluent. The hotel is expensive but it’s probably the nicest one around there. Parking is quite expensive. My chrome cast in the room wasn’t working but they fixed it. It seems like a great place for families, lots of activities for the kids. Go to Roonies for seafood! We’ll definitely be back in Long Branch after this and Wave seems like the best spot around there if you’re willing to splurge a bit. I did get the Suite with partial ocean view, I might go regular room with full ocean view next time.

For a resort with a high daily rate, the staff to guest ratio was not good. My wife looked for a guest services person for 20 minutes one early morning to see how she can get the bicycle but had to give up. The area around hotel feels like you’re on Truman show, Nice but fake sort of way. We took a drive to Asbury park and red bank that were more more lively for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. Worth trying out though.

I love that is by the beach and you feel you’re in vacation. The pool is nice and I loved the swim up pool bar. The room was ok but thin wall so you can hear all your neighbors talking at night. Not ideal if you have kids and go to sleep early. Also, the terrace is very nice but the chairs are VERY uncomfortable and you don’t have a little table. It’s missing coziness. In general, the rooms don’t match the great vibe of the hotel.

A/C will not go below 69 degrees, brought a fan to cool down the room. TV was not working correctly. Bar food was horrible. Gravel valet parking lot, $65 to park. Hotel room wasn’t too clean. Underwhelming experience, wouldn’t go back. Staff extremely friendly and nice.

Get coffee somewhere else the cafe coffee is horrendous, the Asian place had no sushi when we went which was bizarre so ended up leaving and going elsewhere. If you have young kids it's a great area. if you're an adult looking for more adult venues stay somewhere else.

Magen greeted us at check in and was amazing. She upgraded our room and was so kind. The next day we got complimentary late checkout and were able to borrow bikes from the hotel to ride on the boardwalk. Rooms were stunning and clean. It was at least our third time staying here.
