Room was clean and comfortable. While we were there it was quiet. Parking was OK. The staff we encountered were friendly professionals. The main drawback was the breakfast or lack thereof. Using a stock photo of a breakfast area somewhere is deceptive. Fortunately there was a diner a block away.

Very clean room and very helpful staff. Helped immediately with a tv problem and offered to help with my bags as I was using a cane. Very nice pool and chairs , nice grassy area. Breakfast was only a keurig, some random danish and fruit loops. But we didn’t mind we ate elsewhere

Crystal Inn is a budget bargain and I love staying here! It's quiet, convenient and the other guests are polite and helpful. The front desk is always available to provide amenities and suggestions. I had to leave early due to an unexpected travel change and they refunded my last day, no questions asked! I was so impressed. This small, privately owned motel is my go to when I need to get work done but also be close to all that Monmouth County, NJ offers.

I recently stayed here with my family for a trip near the shore. Given the competitive pricing for this location, it offers decent value, but guests should be prepared for a few maintenance shortcomings. The front desk staff was the absolute highlight of the stay incredibly sweet, professional, and polite from check-in to check-out. The room itself was decently clean upon arrival, and the low price point is hard to beat for being so close to the shore. (Long Branch Beach) 15 mins. (Point Pleasant Beach) 37 mins and (Asbury Park Beach) around 25 mins give and take. I also think that the pool is really well maintained. The room is in desperate need of maintenance work. There were noticeable stains on the walls, and the entry door was heavily scuffed and damaged. One can clearly hear the people that are in the others rooms specially those who decide to walk back and forth all night long. The multiple designated smoking areas appeared to be right next to every room entrance and I can see how that can be very bothersome for people that are nonsmoking. If you are looking for a budget-friendly option near the shore and only need a clean bed and friendly service, this works. However, the property needs some serious cosmetic updates to truly compete. I also think they also should make the smoking designated areas away from the room entrances.

Pros: Easy to navigate to. Easy check-in. Convenient drive to PNC Arts Center and Long Branch Beach. Restaurants and stores nearby. Comfortable bed and pillows. Not overly crowded. Nice size pool. Cons: Don’t stay on the ground floor… sounded like a herd of elephants walking around upstairs. Not the way you want to wake up at 6am. Went for breakfast at 845 and there were only slices of bread left. Found someone else’s hair (different color & length) on my “clean” towel and an old shriveled up bar of soap on top ledge of the shower. Shower head leaked heavily towards the ceiling causing it to bead up and drip on you. Refrigerator making loud noises. Poor lighting- there were no lamps, only bright recessed lighting, right above and across from the bed. Pulling out of the parking lot onto main road is difficult, be prepared to hit the curb if turning right and taking an eternity if turning left. No tissues in the room, luckily I had a box in my car.
