Despite nice and helpful staff, the rooms were dirty and poorly maintained in both rooms we stayed in. Key features were sticky floors, bathroom leaks, water damage. The room fob system malfunctioned and the poor staffer had to completely take apart the mechanism and override it. Oh and the bathroom door handle fell off in my hand and they never repaired it. Also, I made a rookie traveler mistake, but watch out for the ice in the restaurant and steer away from any water in the hotel since it gave me my worst bout of traveler's diarrhea in years. Lastly, the online photos make the place look like luxury at the beach and must have been airbrushed or they have a fabulous photographer. We've stayed in some dingy hotels all around the world, but never paid so much for so little.

Our stay at Marante Plaza was very enjoyable. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and the location was fantastic with the wonderful Praia Boa Vista right across the street. Many very good restaurants within a short walk. We will return!

Its s small hotel on the Pina beach, very clean, great breakfast, and on top of it there are two employees that stands out. One is Dona Geralda who prepares on the grill upon request anything, including a tapioca:) And one housekeeper named Dona Solange! What a nice lady. She made my stay one of the best. I’ll be back soon.✌🤗
