The property was very clean in the rooms but the veranda was really dirty and dusty it looked like it had never been cleaned the bed was really clean and comfortable and it had a massive TV in the room and some exercise things too. The bathroom was clean and towels were lovely and with toiletries provide it was a bit far from train station to walk but the bus stop was nearby as it was a bit expensive to use taxis. They had lots of outdoor space to eat and drink as you were next to the Caversham bridge where you could get a boat ride it had lots of things going on inside the hotel a gym,swimming pool, sauna and steam room and jacuzzi. There was good air conditioning in the room due the the really hot weather a good coffee maker was also in the room it was a bit exspensive as there wasn’t any breakfast included but all in all a wonderful stay

Clean, nicely decorated room. Very comfortable bed, excellent pillows, good quality floor coverings. Could have done with at least one chair. The building work detracts from the offering but at least that’s not permanent. The filtered water tap is a nice addition, as is the coffee pod machine. Only small downsides: too few towels, no sweeteners, only three hangers.

The room was excellent, well equipped, very comfortable with a first rate view from the balcony. The pool and Gym facilities were excellent, easy to use with fantastic staff. The only let down was the bar/restaurant area. The levels of noise from the assorted screens, the shouting and screaming was ridiculous. Ordering food was difficult as the app system was glitchy and talking to staff near impossible due to the noise levels. The menu sounds great, the reality somewhat different. The food was not upto the standard advertised and as such overpriced. Am Amazing Hotel well positioned with great facilities seriously let down by a sports bar and the mentality that comes with it, a real shame.

Everything superb, loved the room styling, newly refurbished feel, spotless clean. Top notch leisure facilities (could add poolside plant life and steam room scent maybe), gym full of new tech & choices with river view window. There was even a gym ball and mat in my club room. All staff helpful and prompt. I've stayed at other village hotels, this one was the best
