The place is a bit of a wreck and noone seemed particularly interested in us being there. I observed several boxes of govt pre made meals at check in. Pretty sure our presence wasn't needed or even desired by management.

I want to keep this review as respectful as possible. But, holy smokes, this place is pathetic, an absolute disgrace. I realize not to expect an experience like the 4 seasons when booking at a motel 6, but this was just too horrible not to say anything about. I've been to several Motel 6's, NJ, MA, etc. And they were all at a somewhat decent standard. This one in pottstown, PA doesnt come even close to the other motel 6s ive been at. This one is a horrible look for the motel 6 brand. I encourage corporate to check in on these guys & they'll see what I mean.

The check-in with Jasmine was very easy. She was very helpful and kind. The room was quiet, the shower had plenty of hot water and a nice shower head. The bathroom sink drain, however, needs to be cleaned out so that the water drains better. The only thing unpleasant was the smell of marijuana at the entrance, in the lobby and upstairs in the hallway. The hotel is supposed to be non-smoking according to published signs, but the odor from marijuana was unfortunately very prevalent.

Last Stay at Motel 6 Pottstown

A strong wet dog smell was present in the first floor hall and we had to keep the air conditioning off to prevent the odor from reaching our room. The room itself was bare-bones, but clean.

My room was clean and the property seemed relatively safe. However, the hallways were dirty and the landscaped area around the property was full of trash. Also, most hotels have a small refrigerator. This one did not, which meant that my food spoiled over the weekend.

The room displays and arrangement is nice and the staff we met were nice. Unfortunately there were a few things found that were unsatisfying. The TV was extremely dim, flickered, and made screching noises that would only go away if shut off and turned on. There were cigarette burns on the sheets and they smelled dirty and as if used in a smoking room, of course. The bathroom had many dirty mold like brown spots on the tub and toilet. The wifi is unusable; it connected, but when i tried using it to study, pages would not load on my laptop or phone.
