The places does not get the reviews it should. We almost cancel and so glad we didn't. Great beach, great location, great staff. The grounds are well looked after and staff always on hand, cleaning and seeing to the gardens. The accommodation was simple but enough. I'd stay again

This is a cute old style resort on a lovely beach. The restaurant food & staff is fantastic. The Rooms are very run down and if you’re unlucky enough to need a twin room you get a cabin split in 2 with what feels like a piece of paper for the connecting door. Threadbare towels and very basic ammenities. Reception staff incredibly rude to every single person regardless of what they need. Really horrible especially the bigman. Very over priced for what you get.

The beach was great for swimming. Staff all wonderful and friendly. We were there 5 days and they ran out of lounge chairs 1day but it is high season. We booked 6 mon in advance but didn’t get 2 huts side by side which is my only complaint. Breakfast included was nice and good

This place is amazing! When it comes to Koh Samed, the location of your accommodations can make or break your visit... Tubtim has by far the best proximity to the beautiful beach as any resort on the island! The cabins feel bigger than the photos portray.. The breakfast spread is great... The staff is kind and attentive... For the price, this is THE value steal of the island. Ill be back!!!!

TubTim is always our "go-to" place for Koh Samed. It has a wonderful beach with shallow, clean, warm water. The view is terrific, especially from the "N" class bungalows, and the staff are excellent. This is a terrific "value for price" property on Koh Samed; one that we return to often.

We loved our stay at Tubtim, so much that we stayed an extra 2 nights. We had previously stayed at Wong Duen beach and also explored other bays on the island by scooter/walking, but this was by far our favourite. We had a garden view fan room, which was lovely and suited our needs. We saw amazing birds around the grounds including hornbills and drongos. The prices for food and drink, including in the shop, were a bit higher than other areas, but when you factor in that everything has to be brought by boat the additional cost is to be expected. The included breakfast was delicious and well above what we expected, with lots of choice and great quality. The onsite bar and restaurant were also lovely. I would stay here again without hesitation.
