“The property was well located right on the front in the village and the view was fantastic as was the peace and quiet. There was plenty of room with a big bed, which although a little firm for us was still very nice. The bathroom was huge with a free standing bath and the sitting area had a really comfy sofa, fridge and dining table. The village itself has two places to eat and the food was really good.”

“We found this hotel and it’s an absolute gem! Nestled above Lake Windermere, it has a lovely atmosphere and comfy rooms. We had both dinner and breakfast there and they were both tasty and to a high standard. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We would definitely stay there again”

“Had a few days in The Lakes while visiting family in the UK and attending the Oasis concert in London. We could not have been happier with The Ambleside Inn - totally excellent stay. Great location, wonderful staff (thank you) and although no onsite parking there are lots very close to the Inn and the short stay (30 min) drop off is right outside. Highlights: clean and pretty well kept, despite it being super busy (it was July!), with a really good breakfast and a nice cozy bar plus Pub Food in...
