BookIng for the Amalfi coast can be a daunting task. In high season accommodations are expensive. I was looking for parking, a view, AC, and a pool without breaking the bank. They easily met all of our expectations. We only had time to stay for one night and have never been to the coast before so certainly did not know the "lay of the land". Would definitely stay there again despite the distance down to the actual coast. The hotel was very clean with a modern renovation. We used the pool, food service at the pool, late night dinner and the included breakfast. All were great, the breakfast was an exceptional continental. I had a piece of "Nonni's torta", pretty fantastic! :)

Definitely wouldn’t categorize this as a 4 star hotel. Not a very welcoming or hospitable vibe. Toiletries were not replenished ever, nor was the fridge/ water in our room ever restocked. There was no “lounge” area. Ordered a beer by the pool and it took 25 minutes. Woke up from a nap and a spider crawled out of my pillow. Lots of ants throughout the property. Long trek to get into town and there’s plenty more convenient/ nicer options of very nice hotels for the same price if not cheaper closer to central things. The view was by far the best part.

Great pool, breakfast and staff. Staff were very responsive prior to our visit and helped book a dinner reservation for my partner’s birthday. They also delivered cake to our table at breakfast that morning without asking. Absolutely incredible view! Perhaps one of the best in Ravello. Pool area does get covered by shade late afternoon/early evening. Room was a little shabby, towels very thin so had to be changed daily, and toiletries provided were adequate only.

Villa Piedimonte was a decent stay overall. The pool area was beautiful, the breakfast was high quality, and the property was well maintained. However, the location was less convenient than expected for walking around Ravello, especially when the hotel shuttle was not operating due to its limited hours. Pricing also seemed to vary significantly from night to night, which made the value proposition less consistent. While the hotel has its strengths, I would recommend comparing it with other options in Ravello, as there may be properties with better locations and overall value for the price.
