The room itself was much nicer than expected. Unlike most listings, the photos have not been enhanced. Yes, the facility is over 50 years-old, but is clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Staff was as helpful as could be.

Although the exterior seems a little questionable, don’t let that fool you. The staff was friendly, the room, although a bit dated, was clean and comfortable. We ate dinner at the attached diner and that was tasty too!

Don't judge this book by its cover. Although run-down on the outside, our room was very clean, and it was obvious the housekeeper took great care in their work. We only stayed one night, but the room was spacious and the beds were comfortable.

Great stay at this vintage motel in Raton

We had a pleasant stay in our room in this vintage mom and pop motel founded in the 50s. It was very quiet even though on the main road through town. the room was clean and comfortable at a good rate. The Oasis Diner on site is a plus. Good home cooking at great prices. The servers there are attentive and friendly.

All the rooms were vacant except one, besides us. Staff was very friendly. Checked in an hour early. Had a power outage on the morning of check-out that lasted a few hours. No problems whatsoever. Definitely recommend.

The staff I interacted with were friendly, and I really wanted to like this place because it’s got vintage charm, but the bed had a really gross mystery stain on it that should at least be covered if they can’t replace it, and I had a cockroach crawl across my pillow when I laid down to go to sleep.

Very big room and quiet. We know the area is struggling and we hope that some repairs and updates will be affordable for them in the future. Restaurant has very tasty food and we can see the locals are helping keep the business open. Quite busy.
