“Great little inn over the river from the main part of Shrewsbury so much quieter. Easy walking into town just over the bridge. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Nepalese restaurant as part of the premises. Good food at a reasonable price. Onsite parking is a bonus.”

“Es hotel muy lindo, el staff es super agradable. Habitaciones cómodas y limpias”

“The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. “Lovely property -- a lot of stais to get to rooms, but a very nice location”

“Great location. Comfortable and clean room.”

“De accommodatie is rustig maar toch vlakbij het centrale gedeelte van Knighton. De kamer is van alles voorzien dat je mogelijks nodig hebt en het ontbijt is zelfbediening in de keuken van de host. De host is heel vriendelijk”

“The Lion Hotel is a historyful place, very confortable and with a very responsive staff. ”

“Great breakfast, nice room, good bed, good bar, car park a bit tight but there's an NCP opposite.”

“Great location for a place to stay in Shrewsbury. Abbey Foregte is close enough to the town centre for walking in, but quiet enough for staying. Parking was plentiful at the weekend. Room had everything you needed - plenty of tea & coffee, as well as corkscrew and wine glasses 😉. Would recommend staying here.”
