The staff were very helpful with ideas for restaurants in the area and immediately accommodated our request to stay an extra night. The breakfast buffet was good, although the room can get crowded due to bus tourists staying at the hotel. They did a good jub of keeping everyone happy despite the crowd.

Great location. Front desk staff very friendly. A/C did not work 2 of 3 nights. Both nights they replaced a fuse. One night it held, the other it didn't and made for a miserable night. One day upon return, the bed covers were just thrown over the beds. The beds were not made properly. Very unprofessional. Bathroom sink was cracked and blow dryer didn't work properly.

I liked the older nostalgia of the hotel and I know it is keeping with history but air conditioning would change everything. You can only open your windows a few inches. Big hotel Great view Rooms are small I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The property was very walkable to places to eat. The small bar closest to the front desk was very busy and the bartender seemed overwhelmed. She was not only tending bar, but she was also taking food orders and serving them. The property has a lot of tour bus groups and that is why everything was busy. We received a $15 drink and food perk, but didn't use it because it was never mentioned when we were in the bar.
