Room was not like the pictures shown at all. Thought we were staying in a hotel, especially for the price! It was really a motel room by water. Room was clean, but old everything. Bed was hard. Very damp feeling in the air all night w "DampRid" pack hanging in the closet. Shower floor was so slanted I didn't know if I was going uphill, downhill, or caving in the middle!!

The staff were all super hospitable. Our room was clean and comfortable. Location cannot be beat with accessibility to so many attractions nearby and the property grounds, adjacent to the Canyon Lake Park made for a comfortable place to come back and relax each day. This resort is incredibly affordable and a hidden gem. Our whole family loved it!

The cabins and rooms at Canyon Lake Resort are intentionally rustic, but clean and well maintained for their age. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My wife thoroughly enjoyed watching the local ducks and geese who seem to have taken up permanent residency around the property.

The room was clean. The property was well-maintained and quiet. The view was good to the lake. The room was cleaned with a solvent that had an overpowering smell, which was very overpowering for me. Had to keep the window and door open to get fresh air in and release the odor. One other complaint I have is the bathroom was older along with the rest of the items in the room, but putting in new toilets where they are seat tight would be best

We enjoyed our stay in the cozy cabin at Canyon Lake Resort. We were able to cook the fish we caught right outside and enjoy our supper in the nice outside area by our cabin. It was very quiet and relaxing.
