On our way to the first campsite in linnansari national park

I went to Finland in 2016 with a friend who sells Carelian Caviar all over the world, to see and shoot their production facilities in Varkhaus. We stayed in lovely apartments in Porosalmi. While my friend with his clients were apparently enjoying going back and forth from sauna to frozen lake, I decided instead to explore the local area. Little did I know that the sign was actually saying private property.

Relaxation is what we were after and relaxation is what we got. In the middle of the Finnish Lakeland district the Hotel and Spa Resort Järvisydän is the definition of Finnish serenity. After a day of skiing or skating, enjoy one of their many saunas.
