The rooms are not large but they are clean and atmospheric. The amenities were good, we used the hot tub and ate at the bar which was more family friendly cuisine (and prices) than the restaurant. Breakfast was fantastic. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and assisted us when we had a flight cancellation.

Breakfast is included and can be ordered from the menu or you could eat from the breakfast already prepared. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious, I would definitely recommend the splurge!! The hot tubs were a welcome addition to the end of a busy sightseeing day. The bar staff was enjoyable to talk with as well. Overall excellent stay.

The breakfast was varied and readily available first thing in the morning. We had a boxed lunch prepared for our day trip and while bait pricey, it was high quality and filling. We had dinner the first night and enjoyed appetizers and the main courses, especially the seafood choices.

Beautiful location, the staff was extremely attentive and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. We had dinner at their restaurant and it was one of our top meals in Iceland. Loved everything about this hotel! It had a rustic look but was modern other than that. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved the extra amenities like the hot tubs, pool table and observation tower. Such a nice bonus that they do an Aurora wake up call so you don't miss the Northern Lights. The staff was friendly. Loved that the owner was present on the property and mingling with guests. The bar and restaurant were amazing! The food was wonderful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Iceland!

This hotel was fantastic. We loved it. Food was wonderful and they were very accommodating with our food allergies and vegetarianism. The owner is lovely too. Only complaint is that even with a fan the rooms are very warm, but that seems to be the case in all the hotels here.
