This place was 'knock your socks off' amazing! It was so cute. It was so clean and cozy. They had a letter written to us about places to eat and grocery stores near by- You cannot beat this place! If we come back to iceland- we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Such fun even on non northern lights season. Watched horses all night long. Perfect restaurant down the way called The Barn! Divine. Get the fish special. Travelled with two other couples. Our heater didn’t work, but both of theirs did. Was perfect for a fun experience different from a hotel room. Would do it again even solo for the serenity!

The igloo was clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed. Parking was very convenient. The igloo made THE PERFECT place to see the Northern Lights which were right over head! We were able to find everything we needed for food and drinks in nearby Hella. Excellent stay!

Wonderful and unique place to stay. Make sure to get the igloo with the bathroom. We were surprised how clear the dome was to see the stars and we were so lucky to see an incredible aurora from the comfort of our bed.

What an incredible unique experience. I loved having hte bathroom attached and to have a cozy bed to climb into. Note that there are few space heators to turn on and even a heated bed topper which i didnt see until the morning. It would be great to have a welcome note that talks about all that and if they did I may have missed it. One caviat is that despite it was cool to see the auroras from bed, it was suprisingly bright when you stepped out your door to capture it. It should be common practice to say turn off your patio light at night to create a darker enviroment for photos.

This was a truly wonderful property and such a novelty, however some of the facilities were lacking somewhat compared to a hotel, for example space in the shower. Having said that it was perfect for our stay - truly cosy & romantic and we loved it! The electric blanket was a lovely touch!!

It was an amazing experience. The room was cosy with heaters, a heated mattress and cosy lights. We saw the northern lights on display for about 2 hours looking straight out from the comfort of our bed. Highly recommend!
