This hotel is absolutely amazing! It’s so clean and beautiful. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, always going the extra mile. For example, when we checked out early, they prepared croissants to take away. We also forgot our water bottle on reception when leaving, but one of the staff members ran it to us in a car park! The restaurant on site is fabulous. The food is really good, and the atmosphere is nice. The views are breathtaking. There’s also a sauna, which is a nice touch. The Black Beach Walk is also scenic.

A truly beautiful and relaxing stay from start to finish. Check-in was seamless and welcoming, setting the tone for a wonderful experience. The sauna was absolutely stunning—floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking a softly snow-covered field created such a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere. Thoughtful touches like plush slippers and an incredibly comfortable robe made it feel extra luxurious. The room details were equally impressive. The coffee maker had the feel of a high-end café machine, yet was so simple to use—just pop in a pod and enjoy. The bathroom was beautiful, with soft, plush robes and towels that made it hard to leave such a cozy space. Dinner was spectacular. The fresh bread paired with an incredible butter spread was a standout, and the Atlantic char was beautifully presented and absolutely divine. The drink selection was also excellent. Breakfast was just as impressive—an abundant and beautifully presented spread with fresh baked breads, eggs, vegetables, pastries, meats, cheeses, and yogurts. It was the perfect way to start the day. Check-out was just as effortless, and the thoughtful offer of tea or water for the road was a lovely final touch. We would absolutely stay again—and next time, we’re looking forward to enjoying the private beach.

It’s a great hotel, although it’s clear it’s past its prime. The property feels a bit outdated, without yet having that classic charm. The staff is very attentive. We took the walk to the beach — highly recommended — and the service was excellent; they even dried our sneakers overnight so they’d be ready the next day. The food was very good, with a great dinner and a nice breakfast.

Amazing hotel. Views and beach walk was amazing. Easy drive to vik and beyond. Restaurant was delicious but eclectic. If you want somewhere more casual to eat you have to go into Vik. Sauna was gorgeous and staff was great, highly recommend!
