The cottage was beautiful. Gorgeous views of the lake and a waterfall behind. Incredible views of the northern lights when we were there. Excellent amenities. Delicious baked goods free on the reception and bonus lovely friendly dogs ran to greet us when we got there.

This place was amazing. The property has breathtaking scenery. The room was spacious and comfortable. The mini kitchen had everything you would need to cook a meal and if you needed anything there was a communal kitchen with additional items. The host made cookies and cake each day. She stayed up to let us know about the bad weather. I highly recommend this lovely place.

I stayed with my Mother at The Garage for a bonding experience amongst nature in Iceland- it did not disappoint! We could see the Ocean and Lagoon clearly from the windows. We loved relaxing in the hot tub during blustering winds and snow. The Host, Anna made a delicious chocolate cake which we enjoyed upon arrival. The view of the mountains and waterfall are spectacular (especially from the hot tub!) and her two dogs are friendly and playful-it was comforting for my heart missing my two dogs at home in Canada. Quick and easy drive to Vík (excursions) and Black Sand Beaches.

The Garage was my absolute favorite hotel that we stayed in. The Family that owns the farm were wonderful and even baked us cakes. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed exploring them. They also had little booklets in the rooms that told us other places to check out. Loved it!

What an interesting stay. We loved it. We stayed in the haytower. The place was so cool. They created a wonderful lodging out of an old building that in the late 30’s housed farm animals and upstairs kept hay for the livestock. It now has all the conveniences of home with kitchen,washer dryer, dishwasher,fridge,microwave, large tv. Upstairs has 2 twins with views of a waterfall as well as the coastline on the opposite side. Roomy shower. Fun stay. We could have stayed a week or more. Did not get to try out the hot tub. Next time.😊
