Vacations Close To Rancho Santa Fe Art Gallery

I am writing to express my disappointment with our recent stay and to request appropriate compensation for the significant delay in receiving our room. Our scheduled check-in time was 4:00 PM. We arrived at around 2:00 PM and completed the pre-check-in process. We spent the afternoon at the pool while waiting for our room to be ready. However, even after 4:00 PM, our room was still unavailable. At approximately 4:30 PM, I went to the front desk to ask when it would be ready. I was told that the room was still being prepared and that I would be contacted as soon as it was ready. I was also told it would take about another 30 minutes. Unfortunately, by 5:20 PM, I still had not received any update. My younger daughter is only two years old, and she was extremely tired and needed to rest. I had to return to the front desk a second time to ask about our room. In the end, we did not receive our room keys until after 5:40 PM—more than an hour and forty minutes after the official check-in time. This delay had a significant impact on our family vacation. Because we could not access our room on time, we were unable to rest, and our plans for the evening had to be delayed. What should have been a relaxing family trip became a frustrating experience. I understand that unexpected delays can happen, but I was disappointed by the lack of communication and the length of the wait. Given the inconvenience and the impact this had on our stay, I respectfully request that you consider providing

Great location Very friendly staff Nice room

Great Place! Perfect location on beach

Very friendly and helpful staff. Close, easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Two queen beds were comfy; the space was roomier than a typical hotel room and had a functional layout. We did not use the pool but it looked small but usable. The parking lot was also small but we found a spot every time we wanted to. Hotel gives you a “token” for each person so you can borrow beach towels, sand toys, chairs or umbrellas. Would recommend this quaint place for those on a budget!

Room was updated and very clean. Enjoyed the Nespresso coffee maker in the room, as well as the welcome snacks and water. Ate 2x in the restaurant bar. Good food and reasonably priced for the area. Also played 27 holes of golf on the property. Especially reasonable green fees after 3pm. We would definitely return to the property.
