Rating: 3.5 stars Pros: Fairly clean. They only missed 1 spot on the floor which had a dark splotch. Roku TV! Able to log in and watch any streamer. Courteous Human Staff. Other reviewers in the past mentioned no front desk staff. They were there this time. A fancy touch mirror to adjust the lighting. Hotel next to a freeway. Had booked a room on other side and it was…less noisy. Close to alot of shops and restaurants and a plaza with Ralphs / TJs. Within a mile-ish of Balboa Park. Lots of outlets! Has a very small gym. Has a dining room with some basic kitchen amenities. Elevators seemed fast enough. No vagrants or homeless people outside lingering during stay. Cons: West Room still prone to street noise like Ambulances, Cop cars, Trucks etc. Not a total dealbreaker but if ur a light sleeper ¯\_(ツ)_/ AC is loud and itll take awhile to adjust so u think its generic white noise.. No pants hangers but its a nice to have. Room size: It small and tight, esp in the bathroom - toilet area. Shower stall is ok enough. Overall: A 4 star hotel would hafta solve things like noise, cleanliness, & space. This place comes close to it but its not truly 4 star. Which is why its somewhere in the middle of 3-4. Its a basic enough hotel that would serve well for a short stay and max 2 ppl in the king small room. Its clean enough, close to things, and generally affordable for the amenities it offers. If you can handle city noise- no matter the side of hotel u choose.

Great place to stay! In the middle of all the action. Walk across the street to the beach. Restaurants all the way down the block and lots of shopping. We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit. It was awesome. Loved it. The parking situation was not the greatest, but we will stay again for sure!

Beautiful Location, but the Rooms and Customer Service Need Improvement Paradise Point Resort & Spa is a decent property with a beautiful setting, but unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of expectations. The property itself is showing its age, and the rooms are in serious need of updating. Our room had what appeared to be black mold, electrical outlets coming loose from the walls, and several pieces of old, outdated furniture. For a resort at this price point, I expected much better maintenance and accommodations. What was especially disappointing was the customer service. Once the staff confirmed that our reservation had been made through a third-party booking site, they seemed much less willing to assist or accommodate our requests. Regardless of how a guest books their stay, everyone should receive the same level of hospitality. On a positive note, the housekeeping team did a great job whenever we needed their services. Their efforts were genuinely appreciated. Overall, Paradise Point has a lot of potential, but the dated accommodations, maintenance concerns, and lack of accommodating customer service really detracted from our stay. With some much-needed renovations and a greater emphasis on guest satisfaction, this could be a wonderful resort. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would have a hard time recommending it at its current price point.

Had a great stay here for a few nights. The vibe of the property is very cool. It’s almost like a speakeasy as the front is a bit unassuming but it goes to the hotel’s charm. A literal hidden gem. Rooms are clean and stay quiet but should note the closeness to the airport. It’s not overbearing but you’ll hear planes landing and taking off. Speaking of proximity, the location teeters on the residential side. It’s perfect if you’re driving but be ready to walk for a while if you don’t use a ride service. It’s a great place to stay overall. The staff is chill. Sunset looks great from the roof!

Definitely needs new tv’s because I feel like I was in 2013 with the cable . Otherwise a clean hotel
