Disliked: Staff & service
The front desk clerk was extremely rude. He photo copied my id and bank card. When I asked the purpose of getting a copy of my bank card; he began to become very aggressive and asked me to leave. I ended up staying in another hotel. He even threatened to call the police because I wanted clarity of their policy. I wouldn't suggest this hotel to my enemy and it shouldn't even be considered to be listed on this site.
This hotel looks nothing like the photos online. We felt as if we were walking into a horror movie. Garbage was piled up in the hallways, the carpets were hideous. The lights were falling out of the ceiling. When we told locals what hotel we stayed at, they laughed at us. They said it's the worst hotel in Raleigh. Impressive.
Roach motel, run do not walk, This was the worst place I've ever stayed. People standing outside my wiindow talking for hours , there is gas station in front of hotel where people hang out. This is a hotel where people live, drugs and whatever else...I was scared to fall asleep, fell asleep for 15 mins and went to bathroom. when I came out there were roached everywhere, even when I had just gotten up from, I was disgusted. I immediately got my stuff and was refunded, The reviews are from there tenants they give discount for good reviews,, STAY AWAY!!
When I went to checkin I was able to see the room before paying. I was given a keycard and room number then proceeded. I entered the room and quickly realized someone was already staying in the room. Fortunately they were not there when I unknowingly went in. I went back to the front desk, informed him and then was told they didn’t have anymore rooms. I stated that I had made a reservation online and that I had a room. He “upgraded” me to a larger room and allowed me to see it before paying. I knocked before entering after my last inspection. The room needed an overhaul. The curtains were hanging by 2 hooks, the closet door was broken off, the desk drawers were gone and any available crack had the remanents of incense sticks. Being a poor, tired college student I took the room for the night, asked for clean sheets to remake the bed and went back to my room. I stripped the bed, which had no top sheet, and remade the bed. Only to find that I had only been given fitted sheets. I put two fitted sheets on the bed and wrapped my pillows in a third fitted sheet. There were no wash clothes, dingy bath towels and one clean hand towel. The A/C in the room ran constantly so it was freezing in the room, people were in the hall during the night yelling and I killed several roaches while not sleeping.
There were roaches all over my room and my multiple complaints over two days were ultimately and absolutely ignored. No one showed up to spray the room, see the infestation for themselves, or even ask me anything. There were roaches on the walls, in the wardrobe, crawling on the bed, in the shower, in the sink, on the bathroom floor, I made the mistake of leaving my glasses on the nightstand and one was crawling on the lenses when I put them on in the morning. Unfortunately I couldn’t afford a different hotel for my second night so I put everything that would fit in the microwave or hanging in the wardrobe, everything else stayed in my truck to keep roaches out of my bags. I will never go back to that chain of hotels.
Worst hotel I've ever been. Bad environment, people smoking in the hallaways, dirty sheets.
Smoke alarm was covered and windows opened as the previous guests smoked inside
Stains on the carpets, bed and all over the bathroom. The room had obviously not been cleaned. When we walked in it took almost an hour to check us in because no one was at the desk. The lobby and halls smelled like a mix of marijuana and cigarettes. Was afraid to take off my shoes in such a filthy disgusting hotel let alone sleep there. Oh, and did I mention the hotel is situated inside the parking lot of a gas station at which there were several ladies getting into and out of cars that were coming and going from the hotel every 30 minutes to an hour. It doesn't take a genius to see that these women were prostitutes staying at the hotel. A man (I assume was a pimp) offered to sell me drugs in the hallway. Hotel refused a refund.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
This experience was horrible and horrifying. The facility was terrible conditions. There were people in and out like off the street. I reserved a room ahead of time but arrived to no room and the room they thought was available had guest staying that had been put out. Drugs odor/ fumes as you entered the building. The people is extremely misleading.
It was very poorly cleaned and maintained, the clientele was very rowdy and up at all hours, many people loitering in the front enters de and parking lot
Frankly, it was so bad. I didn’t stay. There were screens push out of windows and there were pillows on the roof of the entrance. The carpets were severely worn & soiled. I went to the room the TV & phone did not work. The bed & bedding was outdated and worn. The clerk was trying to handle many maintenance requests but appeared the Maintenence staff was not available. Went back to room where many patrons were hanging out in hall making a lot of noise. I decided not stay, the clerk said she would try to get a refund, but I have not seen that yet.
Most Horrible place to live. Smell of Weed all over place. So many bad bugs in room. Smell stink. Bunch of people in hallway and by room loud, smoking, bickering. Very very unsafe. We didn't stay and immediately ck out.
Ended up NOT staying here. Horrible part of town. Obvious drugs & prostitution. Hotel looked to be in shambles, should be closed down. There is no way I could've went to sleep in this place. What in the world is Wyndham thinking? I am still shaking my head in disbelief as I write this.
Do not stay here!! Bad area, bad hotel. We only reserved because of the seemed close proximity to the amphitheater. This property could easily be confused as a homeless shelter, as homeless individuals were inside the hotel and on the sidewalks and we were propositioned for money inside the lobby of the hotel. The rooms were nothing like the pictures on the website, they were dirty and have not been maintained, it honestly looked as if someone had taken a nap on top of the bed. We did not feel safe and consequently we left to stay somewhere else. We contacted Hotels.com regarding the issues, Horels.com contacted the property who was not willing to reimburse our money. Thankfully Hotels.com was able to accommodate us and made sure we were taken care of!! Great job Hotels.com! Save yourself a sleepless night and a waste of money! DO NOT STAY HERE!

DO NOT STAY HERE
HORRIBLE. This hotel should not be allowed to advertise on Hotels.Com. Filty, trash everywhere inside and outside. This hotel is renting rooms by the week and month to Section 8 housing. Broken windows and screens are missing. I am going to call Raleigh NC Housing and Building Inspections Dept. also the Police and Fire dept. as they are selling drugs inside and outside the hotel, prostitution is going on inside and outside of this hotel. I felt unsafe and feared for my life as well as my vehicle in the parking lot. If I could have found another available hotel I would not have stayed here. I have pictures of the room
Bad area, felt unsafe to walk alone inside and out.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! It was dirty, it seemed like a dangerous place. I couldn’t lay down, we didn’t even have a wash clothes. I would Never stay there again. Weekend with my Son, and it was completely ruined staying at this dive. I have nothing good to say about this hotel. And I didn’t even mention the people hanging out here. I didn’t feel safe at all! I have no idea how it is even in business.
