“Highly recommended. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Beautiful manor house with lovely grounds. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was awesome! Sure, the rooms could do with a refresh, but they were clean and comfortable. And all for considerably less than the price of the local chain motels!”

“El hotel es la típica casita inglesa muy acogedora, las habitaciones son pequeñas pero muy cucas, al parecer antiguamente creo que hace más de 20 años pero no estoy seguro se llamaba Shakespeare hotel y era conocido tanto en Bedford como en Londres. “Initial impression- good. Car park all gravel but plenty of parking. Reception - water on offer but it was empty. Were told our booking didn’t include breakfast but included 20% off food and soft drinks. Nice because we had forgotten. No information on where restaurant or bars not a big problem but it is nice to be told. We booked a table for dinner. Was given our room key. We asked if it was possible to walk along the river from the back of the restaurant… no access it is only from the other...

“Stayed after seeing prodigy in the bowl and was so quiet and the fetid veiw for breakfast outside into he morning was gorgeous x amazing breakfast too brought to our room with no fuss x will return again if that way again”
