We stayed at this property for three nights in mid July 2026. The property was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The property was close too many restaurants and shops. There is no parking on site. However, parking is available about 5 to 10 minute walk from the property. We were a little disappointed with the pool access. There could only be four people at a time at the indoor pool and had to make reservations well in advance to get a decent timeslot. The outdoor pool was a 5 km drive which was not convenient at all. If you are looking for a place to stay and don’t really want to pull access, this property has a lot of character.

The hotel and staff are great. The room and bed are super nice just be ready to move your luggage over some stairs, yes, they do have lift BUT there are some bedrooms (like mine) that will require to go over some stairs.

This place needs almost no comments, as it is one of those truly unique locations in Tuscany. We chose this hotel to enjoy the region and also to visit nearby Panzano, home of the famous butcher Dario Cecchini. The hotel is exceptionally spacious, comfortable, and distinctive, offering a sense of authenticity that is increasingly rare. Everything about the stay felt special and memorable. To make the experience even more charming, we were surprised at the end with a Christmas panettone, a thoughtful and warm gesture that perfectly reflects the spirit of this place. I would gladly return as many times as possible.

In generale l'hotel e' bello, diviso in piu' edifici tutti antichi. Nella mia stanza tuttavia c'erano decine di formiche. Il primo giorno ne ho viste 2/3 e ho sorvolato. Il secondo giorno alcune erano anche sul letto. Ho fatto anche un video. Ho mostrato la stanza al personale alla reception e subito hanno provveduto a darmi altra stanza dove il problema non si e' verificato. Sono stati pronti a rimediare per i restanti giorni. Tuttavia in un 4 stelle e' una situazione che non dovrebbe verificarsi anche in considerazione del prezzo da me pagato di circa 200 euro a notte...
