“Lovely friendly helpful staff. Accommodated my late check in. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Tea and coffee in room. Breakfast was a nice touch. Location was good, very near town centre but still fairly quiet. Parking on site.”

“A fabulous hotel down a picurtess country lane, plenty of parking, friendly staff. We checked in and booked an afternoon tea served in the Grand Hall which was delicious with plenty of tea, we spent the afternoon in the Spa, lovely facility, plenty of space, friendly staff an”

“It's a pretty setting and the room was clean. They seemd a little short staffed and, although the food was good, the tables were dirty and (bizarrely) the host told us the half empty restuarant was 'fully booked'. When we saw many empty tables, we asked the bar tender if it would be possible to order food and he was happy to oblige! Also, the lighting in our room was broken, the only way to have light was to keep the harsh overhead light on. The receptionist promised to send a service person but...

“When I arrived at the hotel there was NO PARKING available. Twenty spaces but none available! Also, hotel couldnt help with suggestions where to park. When I did check in, hotel staff were not presentable, looked tired and messy. Gave room key and quick instructions. Not shown to room. Carpet in the hallway disgustingly bad, very dirty, worn down and in need of repair. Was asked what time I wanted breakfast. Breakfast severed between 7 - 9am when suggested 8am hotelier pulled face and sighed....

“The staff were very attentive from the moment we arrived, the room was lovely and you could see and smell how clean it was. We went for dinner in the meal was really good with good presentation and tasted lovely. Our breakfast was a very good size, there was plenty of variety to choose from too. All in all and great stay and we have already booked to go back.”
