Great stay

Been coming here for a long time this place never gets old I love everything about it!

The room itself was very nice. The staff were completely unhelpful (e.g., took 30 mins to get a wine opener, every time I called the front desk it was a long time before someone picked up, no valet there upon arrival, etc.). The drinks at the pool were overpriced and poor quality. Overall, compared to the price point we paid, the service level of the facility was not up to par.

Really lovely hotel, close enough to gaslamp and downtown if you need to be in that area but out of the blast radius of late night bro energy you might get elsewhere. Ended up with a balcony room facing south with a huge bathtub and beautiful view of Petco Park and Coronado Island, well worth it. One thing to note: the pool is very nice but on the small side, get down there early to grab a spot if planning on a pool day.

They never came to clean our rooms and we asked a good 5 times over the course of a 4 day stay. When getting ice the hallways where they were are trashy and large hole in wall to the right of it . I thought a rodent was gonna come crawling out. They don’t give complimentary waters but did for us one day. Place smelled of mildew but later found out they had just had a flood
