I liked my room, clean and modern. I also enjoyed having breakfast in the open area. The breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are many shops nearby and many restaurants as well.

The outside was kind of scary at night. The inside was beautiful and the staff was super helpful. The staff was excellent and it was close the the center. Definitely was worth the stay.

Beautiful colonial hotel in Quito, with one of the most incredible view of Panecillo. The staff is just so gentle, specially Luigi. You can have a really good conversation about ecuadorian culture and music with him. Thank you Casona Tobar Team for everything!

Great room with 4 beds and 2 baths- which is what I booked except on arrival they tried to give us 2 separate rooms (not sure why). Biggest issue is was street noise from traffic and trolley/street car 24/7. It also felt fairly unsafe surrounding property and on our early departure we could not locate a staff member to unlock the door to let us out. It ended up she was sleeping and we had to knock on numerous doors to find her. This caused a bit of a delay to depart for airport but we made it. Also seems this would be a safety issue. I don't mind them sleeping but perhaps install a bell or something.

El Hotel Casona Tobar se encuentra en una excelente ubicación cerca del panecillo, el centro histórico y del metro. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y limpias. El lugar tranquilo para descansar, pero carece de atractivo no tiene áreas de relajación y diversion, no cuenta con parqueadero lo que dificulta mucho la estancia porque hay que caminar mucho desde el parqueadero, deben trabajar en mejorar la variedad del desayuno. Los trabajadores super amables y muy profesionales.
